jan13-fallimgp7623-002The start of a New Year is always synonymous with new beginnings.

Basically you wipe the slate clean and start the annual “do-over” process to become more positive, lose weight, eat better, work out more, drink less…generally become a fitter, healthier, better person.

That’s the human process and as long as the word “human” is in the equation, the potential for improvement is a possibility. You can start out with the worst of the worst but if the human tag is there on January 1st, you always have hope.

Old cars and trucks face a much crueler fate because these are essentially obsolete machines so they are judged much more harshly. January 1st is not a beginning–it’s simply another day that they escaped the crusher.

These Fallen Stars don’t get a do-over on New Years Day…they just get a reprieve.
