Car guys are some of the most finicky people on the planet. You get that way when you’ve invested tens of thousands in hard earned bucks to make an old car new….or better than new.
That’s why you rarely see vintage iron on the streets before all the winter crap is gone. The last thing you need is winter gravel aimed at your 1200 dollar windshield or bouncing off your 25,000 dollar paint job.
Life is full of risks but car guys like to minimize them after years of blood, sweat, tears and buckets of money invested in old iron.
