Car shows are a great way to gather classic iron and socialize with fellow hobbyists but most car guys build them to drive them. A vintage vehicle isn’t supposed to be a static display-that’s why so many shows have cruises built into the program.
But what’s really great about “Taking it to the Streets”, as the venerable Doobie Brothers once said is that more people get to see an era of automotive history in action.
