The Reynolds Museum Ultimate Car Show is a top-shelf annual event so it’s one of my favorite shows on the summer circuit.
They don’t lock in on anything specific at Reynolds, so you’ll see stuff from the last 120 years in the world of cars.

Exotic cars mingle with old farm trucks at this show because Reynolds is dedicated to the history of cars from yesterday—and the incredible technology of today.

It’s an awesome task to sort out stories, but the first one I found was a 1965 Chevy Impala two-door hardtop.

This was a very cool car with a sleeper look, but the highlight was why it was built. There’s a deep family connection to this project—you’ll see it later this year on MyStar. It’s going to be worth the wait.
There was a 1988 Square-Body Chevy C-3500 tow truck at the show.

I’ll always talk to tow truck guys because every tow truck has a story. It’s built into their work history—this truck definitely had a story to tell, and you’ll see it in a few months at MyStar.
I found a 1969 A-100 with another great story to tell.

The owner had a deep connection with the former owner plus he rescued this truck from oblivion with only a few minutes to spare. You’ll have to wait until later this year for this story, but it’s going to blow you away.

The last car I found was a 1962 Alfa Romeo Guilia.

You won’t see a car like this at a thousand car shows because they’re so rare. The owner is a well-known YouTube guy who lives in the antique world, so he was a great source of information. I like cars like this because they add to my knowledge bank. You’ll see the story soon on MyStar.
Jim found a 1966 GMC at the show.

This is a driver-quality truck so naturally it gets driven and that’s always a big thing at MyStar. Jim’s details on this truck will be on MyStar in 2024–count on it.
Jim was also pointed to a 1951 Merc truck by Jan Michener from Michener-Allen Auctioneering because she thought it was a great story.

Jan was right. You’ll be blown away by what this truck rides on—and yes– you’ll have to wait for the story on MyStar.
Jim spotted an old ’58 GMC city bus with another incredible back story.

This old bus was a people magnet at the show even though it’s still in project mode. That’s how it works at The Ultimate Car Show–where old busses become rock stars.
Jim’s last story was a 1987 Buick wagon.

This car led a charmed life and it’s rare, so it had a back story that worked right into the MyStar philosophy of the story behind the car. The Buick had a few minor battle scars in its past—you’ll read about them in 2024 on the pages of MSCC.
Reynolds hosts a car show that delivers better than Santa Claus every year–2024 kept the tradition alive.
