This month’s MSCC Fallen Stars are from two large collections that were auctioned off in the last 2 years.
One collection was photographed back in February 2013 and the other one was shot back in August 2014. The snow is a dead giveaway for which collection was photographed in February.
The question is how many of these cars are still around in any form?
‘The odds are solid this ’59 Pontiac Parisienne two-door hardtop is still around but the lesser lights in these collections are probably some kind of Chinese fridge in their next life circa 2015.’
The point is simple—you can take pictures of Fallen Stars in summer or winter but the weather doesn’t matter because the future is/was grim for many of these old rides.
