WHY MYSTARCOLLECTORCAR DOES NOT USE AI FOR OUR WRITTEN CONTENT

There are many forms of AI programs designed to help people remain lazy and unmotivated while hiding under the heavy camouflage of apps that do the heavy lifting for them.

Personally, I find them funny because the three choices often attempt to mirror my history of responses. However, most are way off base until the app gathers enough of my writing habits to mimic my replies in a more accurate but still robotic fashion.

The e-replies often contain exclamation points, a choice I rarely use in my written communication, but liberally used by the app when it suggests its three replies. Consequently, “E-mail Jim” is rarely used by me–unless I edit his e-replies and dump the exclamation marks because they are most assuredly not my style.

The brief e-reply suggestions are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to AI written content, and I occasionally commend their ability to make other people’s written content clearer and more literate for their readers. However, we at MyStarCollectorCar will never cheat our readers and have AI provide us with soulless written content created by soulless computer programs.

The biggest reason is AI has none of the personal experiences we acquired over our lifetimes. Specifically, the kind of personal experiences that are critical to the growth and development of every car guy and girl.

We were very young kids who bought heavily into the Santa Claus concept when the old boy left a generous array of automotive-related toys on Christmas Eve because we wanted toy cars and miniature service stations during our wonder years.

We were young kids when we drew hot rod pictures in the crudely unskilled fashion of a grade school prisoner who needed to escape from chronic classroom boredom via the car guy route.

We were slightly older young kids when we tackled model car building and slot car racing because we wanted to get another step closer to the car guy world.

We were adolescents when we witnessed the car guy culture in our hometown and encountered the sights and sounds of local legends who ruled the streets in old school hot rods and then-new age muscle cars.

It was brute force mayhem mixed with high octane fuel and burnt rubber aromas that hooked us forever on the car hobby. There was no finer way to blow out your ear drums than a fire-breathing monster establishing its dominance on the street with a deafening roar.

We were too young to be a part of the hot rod culture during its heyday in our town, but the sights, sounds, and in-your-face attitude of the car guys who owned them was a powerful influence on us.

These experiences are just a few of the reasons why we will never use AI here at MyStarCollectorCar. We are the sum of our life parts, and computer programs have never lived our lives, so our life experiences will never realistically add up for them.
