The dead of winter is the best time to plan for the summer car show season and MyStarCollectorCar is the best way to find the events-or showcase them, depending upon your goals.
2026 marks our 17th year here at MyStarCollector and we have always offered a car show calendar on our website.
Our free access online car show calendar runs at or near the top of Page One on Google, so our listings get a ton of eyeballs every year.

We attend as many car shows as possible every year and gather the bulk of our owners’ stories from these events. In fact, we have been to enough events to easily identify a good show and why they make the grade with attendees.

The first reason is the show’s organizers got their message out to the public at large, and they bought into the event, whether as entrants or onlookers. MyStarCollectorCar can help in this department because of our free access car show calendar and the fact we are positioned high on a Google search for them.

We strongly advise car show organizers to contact us as soon as possible for their listing so they can get as much public attention as possible for their events. Even better, we also offer an enhanced paid advertising package that will really showcase their event if they choose that path.

The second reason for a show’s success is an efficient game plan that appeals to both entrants and onlookers. The good shows have plenty of volunteers who know the plan and are willing to stick to it.

The third reason is the date of the car show. We recommend car show organizers do a little homework and stay away from any date that conflicts with another event within a 50-mile radius of their community.

Instead, we suggest they consult with any car show organizers within the 50-mile range and choose the Sunday following the Saturday if they want to stay away from a turf war. Ideally, the separate show dates would foster a sense of cooperation and help both events.

The fourth reason is essentially an addendum to the third reason, specifically Sunday car shows. We have found Sunday shows are on a steep rise in popularity because they do not generally conflict with the large number of Saturday shows held on an annual basis every summer in most communities.

The fifth and final ingredient for a successful show is give something back to the entrants. Most have spent a large amount of dough and time to bring their prized vehicles to the show and want to feel the love for their efforts.

Love comes in many forms for car guys and girls, including entry (goodie) bags given to each owner when they register for the show. Also, make sure the show acknowledges out-of-towners in a fair and balanced way when it comes to prizes and trophy awards. We hear plenty of negative feedback from entrants at shows where there is an imbalance in the awards department and highly recommend organizers avoid favoritism in this department.

There you have it, MyStarCollectorCar’s look ahead at the 2026 car show season. It all starts with your club’s listing in our 2026 car show calendar.
Let’s hear from you ASAP.
