At MyStarCollectorCar.com we literally take fifteen to twenty thousand car photos every year and occasionally you get that lucky shot–the one where the sun, the moon, the stars and the clouds align and the car looks like gold.
Most of the time we strive for clarity-car guys like to see things like details under the hood or on the dash. You try to capture the most realistic, yet esthetically pleasing picture of a guy’s car because the car is his baby. Try passing off a picture of a baby to proud parents that makes the kid look more Chimp than human and …you get the idea.
This is a different perspective-these pictures were done by Darren Sutherland and while he’s not a car guy-he’s definitely a camera guy. He makes it look easy, but in reality it isn’t-these are the one in 10,000 shots that you hope for and he picked them off like a duck hunter with an UZI.
We all know that old cars and trucks are an art form but it takes pictures like this to drive that point home.
Our biggest fear? Darren may have set the bar too high…enjoy these pictures from the Salmon Arm British Columbia car show from May 2011.
