REYNOLDS MUSEUM 2026—ANOTHER ULTIMATE CAR SHOW IN THE BOOKS

Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin, Alberta is a world class operation that features cars, trucks, airplanes, and anything else on wheels as a big part of their displays.

They also do an annual car event called the Ultimate Car Show every summer and this year’s version lived up to its lofty name.

Every story I found this year was a Ford—sometimes that’s how it works out.

The first one was a 1965 Ford Custom two-door sedan. You don’t see these too often because two-door posts were the basest cars you could order in ’65.

This one began life as a 6-cylinder barebones car, but it’s a concept car now. You’ll learn what the concept is in a future MyStar owner’s story.

The next Ford I found was a 1959 Ford and this one was also a two-door sedan. This one is definitely a long-distance warrior, and it has the road trips to prove it.

You’ll learn everything you need to know about this car when it becomes a future feature MyStar owner’s story.

I found a 1957 Meteor four-door sedan at the Ultimate Car Show.

There were many things to like about this car—from the history to its present use as a definitive road trip car. The owner is a young guy who truly appreciates the old car lifestyle—you’ll find out when it goes live early next year.

The last Ford I found was a 1975 LTD Brougham two-door hardtop. This story is a classic because of the deep family connection and the extremely low original miles.

This story had a happy ending because of that family connection—you’ll learn why next year.

Jim went in a different direction when he spotted a Herbie VW Beetle—it was nothing like the Disney Herbie.

This was a punch-you-in-the-face Herbie, so Jim is going to track down the owner to find out why. When he does, you’ll see the story on a future MyStar owner’s story.

Jim found a 1976 Thunderbird with an incredibly low number of miles at the Ultimate Car Show.

The number is so low you’ll be amazed when it becomes a future MyStar owner’s story between now and early 2027. Here’s a hint—it’s probably the lowest mileage ’76 T-bird in the world.

Jim spotted a 1969 Pontiac Parisienne convertible at the Reynolds show. This one had a young owner and a great history.

It’s been a project for many years, and it still is—but MyStar will have its story on the site in the future.

Jim also found a 1986 Olds Custom Cruiser wagon at the show. These cars are/were rare, so they are a welcome sight at any car show.

This one has low mileage and only two owners. You’ll learn everything about it next year on the pages of MyStar.
