MSCC APRIL 2018 STARS OF THE SHOW—DIVERSITY IS STRENGTH

IMGP2040-001

There’s been a recent catch-all political cliché designed to encompass a whole range of issues—‘diversity is strength’.

Politicians don’t think about car shows because they’re not a hot button issue but this diversity is strength thing really applies to these events.

Not many people see an Anglia in their travels so these humble little British cars get a day in the spotlight at a car show.

You’ll see Corvettes at most car shows but they are always welcome thanks to their army of fans.

You’re less likely to see two vintage Toronados  in a small row of cars at any given show but these classics from Olds are a big draw at a car show.

Monster Vegas are another great addition to a car show.

In the end, the more diversity you have at a car show, the more successful the car show is so a political cliché actually makes sense in the world of old iron—take a look at more examples in this month’s Stars of the Show.
