You hear about the demise of the traditional auto wrecking yard every day. Land prices, green legislation and the soaring price of scrap metal are lethal forces in the world of old iron.

These yards are going the way of the drive-in theater and fins on cars.

Eventually you’ll never be able to take a trip through a good car crop.

The hobby will be weaker for the loss because a trip through a vintage auto wrecker’s yard is like Disneyland for car guys.
