THE PERFECT WOMAN

There has been a great deal of information dedicated to the topic of an ideal woman over the years.

Most of the articles involves women who really do not exist in any actual sense of the concept, so we at MyStarCollectorCar decided to jump in the game because we are not particularly bright-unlike our version of an ideal woman.

We should add that MyStar gathered our version of the perfect woman as the notion applies to car guys because we spend plenty of time immersed in the car hobby with dyed-in-the-wool car guys.

 

Every car guy already knows a purchase of an old car is a minefield because of the misadventures that lay ahead of him if the car needs a little (or a lot of) work. The potential for disaster is definitely not lost on the woman in his life and she may indeed be the voice of reason for the guy in a “don’t-buy-this- piece-of-junk” sense.

However, the perfect woman would head in a different direction with an old car purchase, if she actually existed in the real world.

She would not only support the purchase of an old car-she would possess the right skills to put the car back on the road if it needed a lot of work. She would also possess the kind of patience needed to do the job right because quality automotive work is rarely (as in never) an overnight success by its very nature.

The ideal woman can easily match or exceed their car guy’s abilities and can consequently turn a project into a learning experience. She will be generous with her spare time and knowledge so the car guy can move ahead on the project.

The perfect woman will be a coach and a motivator when the going inevitably gets tough on a project. She will be able to guide her frustrated car guy around the many obstacles that lay in front of him on a project.

The ideal woman will also be an expert negotiator and hunter when it comes to automotive parts and services. In a sense, she will be an alpha female who will use her considerable knowledge, skills and confidence to negotiate the best deal for her car guy’s project.

The perfect woman will be well-armed with facts and figures when it comes to the negotiation so the project can move forward in the most cost-effective way.

The perfect woman will also have an eye for color as it applies to the project and not the living room. She will also be very excited about a new tool chest and not particularly excited about a new dining room set.

A new air compressor will make her much happier than a new couch and she will also know why the 3 phase system on the compressor is a winning formula for her car guy’s project.

Our final point regarding the perfect woman for a car guy: his ideal woman will love the hobby as much as him.
