Herbie the Love Bug is the most famous Volkswagen Beetle on the planet.
Pinkerbelle is not nearly as famous, but this Bug definitely has a big fan with Michelle, its young female owner.
Hot pink hasn’t been a common color option since the 50s Detroit choices but it really works for Michelle’s 1958 German-born wheels.
Obviously it’s a custom color on Pinkerbelle and it is the right look for Michelle.
She loved the color when she first encountered Pinkerbelle and knew that she had to own the little Bug. Her choices were to buy down her student loan or buy Pinkerbelle with her tax refund and we know which direction the winds were blowing that day.
So now Michelle and Pinkerbelle spend their summers together as a local attraction at car shows where the two always attract attention.
Michelle can run Pinkerbelle down the road at 60 mph without too many complaints from her hot pink companion.
